Description

MAC03 is recognised by the Australian Cultivar Registration Authority (ACRA) as being an Australian native grass. Called, Nara™ Native Zoysia is a medium-textured zoysia grass that is fast establishing and has a high tolerance to salt. Nara™ Native Zoysia handles growing in shaded areas (approx. 50%) and also in a temperate environment as low as -12 degrees (Shaw 2016).


Other comments

Nara™ Native Zoysia is often specified into projects that require native only grasses e.g. national parks, native reserves, council roadworks and domestic use. It can be used for: Roadworks across Australia for erosion control; Where a ‘native’ grass variety is specified; Windy coastal areas due to tolerance of very high salt levels; and Shopping centres and large landscaping projects.
