Other comments

Zoysia Australis will grow in all soil types but prefers a free draining soil. It will "grow" in full sun to medium shade, but the grass will require a minimum of 4 hours direct sunlight per day, the equivalent of 70% shade. Zoysia Australis has high wear tolerance and is fast to establish by its stolons and underground rhizomes. In a study conducted by STRI (Sartoretto, 2022) to assess new turfgrasses under Australian conditions, Zoysia Australis demonstrated establishment speed and recovery following spring renovation, compared to the other zoysia grasses trialed.
