Description:

An annual or perennial mat forming weed that grows year round. The weed is very distinct with its wiry branches that have alternate oblong to oval green leaves that are 5-12 mm long and white to pink flowers. The flowers develop in small clusters, flowering predominantly in autumn and spring. Wireweed has a strong deep taproot. Wireweed reproduces by seed which germinates between autumn to early summer.
